Installation of a Mydek Luxura Board on a School Roof in Kensington

The first step in the installation process was to install the aluminium substructure to level. This involved following the manufacturer’s guidelines and ensuring the substructure was securely fastened to the joists. The substructure provided a sturdy base for the Mydek Luxura boards, ensuring stability and eliminating movement or sagging.

Once the aluminium substructure was in place, the Mydek Luxura cement fiber boards were installed onto the substructure. The boards were laid in lengths to spread the loads equally over the joists. Care was taken to ensure even spacing and alignment between the boards, ensuring a visually appealing and durable finish.

This installation was carried out following the manufacturer’s guidelines and in compliance with building codes and regulations. The completed project provided a durable, aesthetically pleasing, and low-maintenance roofing system for the school.
